political me weighs in

Our government...by the people...for the people. Not so much!

If you pay attention to politics and what is going on on Wall Street, you now know this is not the case. Our nation in financial crisis and our government finds it an appropriate time to play politics. Democrates and Republicans pointing the finger at each other. Even up until the moment they are supposed to be passing a bill to help our country gain some sort of economic footing. Both parties wanting to get the last word. Reminds me of a toddler I know!

Now, I could tell myself that what goes on on Wall Street has no effect on me, so it doesn't matter. However, I would be kidding myself. I've spent too much time watching Fast Money to believe that! (Yes...I watch money shows on TV. Who knew?)

What can I do? I CAN VOTE. I can make an educated decision, doing my best to sort through the spin our media puts on everything to try to get me to vote the way they want me to vote! (that is another post in and of itself.)

If I was cool...I would end this post by saying ROCK THE VOTE! But I'm not...so I'll just say VOTE!

Seriously our world scares me. I am sick of all of the crap on the media, and I worry about the economy and what is going to happen if the blame game keeps going on.

It is a very interesting time. I don't ever remember watching all the debates and listening to talk radio.

You are exactly right. We need to vote. We also need to remember, even when the world around us makes it very hard, that we have reason to have great hope! Conference was great! I say reread for great council and comfort! Love Ya!
